The History
Started in 2007 by a group of
citizens in Detroit Lakes who were
concerned about the shortage of
public school funding. They
established a foundation designed to
support our local school system, its
student, and its staff.
2016 Grants
Awarded
DLPEF's
seventh grant cycle occurred in
February of 2016. Twenty-four
applications were received and nine
applications totaling $10,823 were
approved. These funds were donated to
the Detroit Lakes Public Schools to
support these initiatives:
